Qbiss One and Qbiss Air façade systems suitable for different types of facades and intended building use
Trebnje, Slovenia, 28 June 2012 – Last week Trimo’s General Manager, Tatjana Fink, MBA, and the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Architecture in Ljubljana, associate Professor Tadej Glažar, MSc, opened the exhibit of the best student projects, made by 4th year students, during the class Façade cladding technology. The subject holder, associate Professor Martina Zbašnik-Senegačnik, PhD, invited Trimo to cooperate on the projects in this academic year.
She envisioned the work as it happens in practice. The architect or buyer chooses the façade system based the idea of a project, and the provider of the system offers technical support during the project. 140 students handed in their assignments, and the top 30 were chosen for the exhibit.
The works exhibited proved that Qbiss One and Qbiss Air façade systems can be used for different types of facades and for various purposes – not only for hotels, schools, kindergartens, office buildings, apartment buildings, etc., but family houses as well.
“The façade cladding performs different and several functions. Among others it provides thermal and lighting comfort, it has to adapt to the demands of architectural design, and also carries a message. The façade systems Qbiss One and Qbiss Air fulfil all of these demands,” says associate Professor Martina Zbašnik-Senegačnik, PhD.
The exhibit at the Faculty of Architecture will be on display until July 4 then it is moving to Trimo.
